This is a new design that I'm trying out, it's basically a Camp Knife/Chopper. I figured I should test the bodacious knife out a bit before actually offering it to you guys... here is me testing it out Test New Custom High Carbon Steel Camper Chopper Knife I really think this style will have a place in my line up.
Testing this knife was just FUN! I first did the normal (Does it shave hair? Does it cut paper?) This knife did great! Then I figured I would try it on a water bottle, I've never tried swinging a knife through a bottle of water before, never saw the reason behind it..... Now I know! It's just FUN!! When I cut through the bottle I thought, Did I miss?? I mean, the water bottle was still full! When i grabbed the top of the bottle, it just opened up like Miss Packman! I wanted to chop up a whole case of water bottles, but I still wanted to get on with the test. Next up was a Pine Tree (It was already dead). This little tree was about 2 1/2" in diameter so I figured chopping through that would give a 6 1/4 inch custom blade a heck of a work out and possibly damage or at least dull the cutting edge real bad, boy I was wrong. I didn't see anything wrong with the edge, just a little goo from the sap. Becky said we should go inside and see if it was still sharp..... I wanted to cut another water bottle first! After Becky finished up the sheath for this epic Camp Knife I had to see what it looked like on my hip. This definitely is another knife that I would love to have for myself, Whoever takes this one home will have one of the makers favorites!
