"Florida Series" Southern Red Oak and Wild Black Cherry Mini-Cleaver

Writer: GregBueGregBue

This is the first official Mini-Cleaver that I have made. It was designed specifically for a sweet young lady that requested one. Well, after multiple failed attempts, this is what I finally came up with. After I designed and made the prototype, and vigorously tested it, (click on the word 'tested', really) I have to say that this little fella can be very useful. This little Mini-Cleaver was made to match a knife that the young lady purchased back in August of 2023, The Southern Red Oak is from the same branch that her first knife was made from. The Wild Black Cherry bolster came from the same tree that the bolster for her first knife came from. Both her knife and her Mini-Cleaver have red, white and blue G10 spacer material thus making them "Family". The main difference between her knife and Mini-Cleaver is the finish on the blade. Her knife has a satin finish and the finish on her Mini-Cleaver is acidized and coffee etched giving it a very dark finish. The specifications for this bodacious little Mini-Cleaver are listed below.
