9 1/2 " OAL Cocobolo Drop Point Camp Knife

When I finished this blade up I wasn't quite sure what wood I wanted to use for the handle scales, I have quite a selection of Florida woods as well as a pretty good selection of "Exotic" woods so I started putting the blade beside a group of them. I had probably gone through 15 or 20 pieces and decides to set the blade aside until I had time to go through more.... When I set the blade down I happened to set it on a block of Cocobolo wood (https://www.wood-database.com/cocobolo/) that I had not looked at yet, When I walked back into the shop and saw the blade sitting on this freakin' gorgeous piece of wood I figured that's what the knife wanted (maybe the wood decided it wanted the knife). Anyway... The results speak for themselves. This knife is a Drop Point "Camp Knife" with a blade that measures 5" long and 1 1/2 Inches wide. This knife is a bit to beefy to use as an everyday carry knife but if you're hunting, camping, hiking, or backpacking, this will be the perfect knife. The spec's for this wicked sharp "Camp Knife" are below.
