8 5/8" "Florida Series" Red Oak and Black Cherry Clip Point

While I was making this particular knife I was pretty sure that that I was going to like how it came out, well, I am EXTREMELY happy with the end result. This knife is a Florida Series Hunter/Camp knife but it will be just as happy as a Trail knife and if you like knives that are a bit bigger than my average EDC then this would be perfect. It's not so big that you would feel like Rambo with it strapped to your hip but with a blade length of just a bit over 4 1/2 inches and an Over-All-Length of just over 8 1/2 inches. The clip point blade makes this gorgeous knife very VERY pokey so it's perfect as a hunting knife. The gentle curve from the point down to the belly of the blade allows it to be a very effective skinner as well. For a camp or trail knife this sweetheart will perform pretty much any task you run across and with when it's in the sheath it rides about 1 1/2 inches above the belt which makes it easy to access and pretty comfortable to carry. Listed below are the spec's for this beautiful Florida Series knife.

Overall Length = 8 5/8”

Blade = Length - 4 1/8” Width – 1 1/4”

Blade Style = Brushed Clip Point with Thumb Serrations

Blade Material = 5/32” 1095 High Carbon Steel

Handle Material = Stabilized FL Southern Red Oak with Wild Black Cherry Bolster and Red, White, & Blue G10 spacers

This knife comes with a custom hand-made leather "Pouch" sheath.
