In case you haven't visited our table at the Artisans Market, here's a few things you should know about our product.  Most of our blades are custom designed and hand crafted from 1095 high carbon steel.  1095 steel has extremely good edge retention, is easy to sharpen, very durable and I find it easy to work with.  Others are made with different high-carbon steel designations,  Check the specifications for the exact steel the knife  you are interested in is made of.  It will be listed on the product page.

The main body of most of my handles is wood and has been stabilized by me at my shop.  I sell knives made from commercial available domestic and foreign woods as well as my signature "Florida Series" knives.

My "Florida Series" knives are made from woods grown right here in Florida.  Florida has some of the most beautiful wood available!  None of the "Florida Series" knives are from commercially purchased woods. These woods have been harvested by me, from friends and even sometimes my customers!  Knives made from our Florida grown wood all have a State of Florida etched into the blade to identify them.  They come with two business cards that have a picture of the knife as well as a full description of the knife on the back.  These cards are my Certificate of Authenticity for these signature knives.

All of our sheaths are made from veg-tanned leather.  They are hand cut, dyed and hand stitched by my wife.  All sheaths are custom made after the knife is completed and they are dyed to either complement or contrast the new knife.
